"Depression may be more common now than ever before. In the past year, the pandemic was linked to a nearly four-fold increase from the prior year in symptoms of depression or anxiety.
It can be challenging to know what you can do for a loved one or friend who is depressed. Depression is not an easy thing to talk about, especially to someone who may not be in the mood to talk at all, yet being there for them is so very important. There are things you can do, however, to support them.
