"Despite the pandemic, the annual Great ShakeOut worldwide earthquake drill is still happening. The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2020, and provides an opportunity for states and municipalities to promote earthquake safety to people in earthquake-prone areas. Those interested in working on earthquake preparedness with their communities this year can register to take part in the Great ShakeOut, learn more about the program, and access available resources."
